“Complete Luxury and Tranquility”

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful villa to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I have to say this is probably one of the most romantic and beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. It is very small with approximately 30 rooms but beautifully decorated and each room is beautiful and very very clean. Our felt like a beautiful room in a castle and it honestly felt like we were the only ones there. The room was massive with gorgeous windows and scenery overlooking the Tuscan hillsides and surrounded by gorgeous cypress trees. The bathroom also was large with excellent amenities and toiletries. The location of this villa is amazing if you are driving around Tuscany this is a good home base as most of the places that are famous landmarks are within 1 to 2 hours of this villa. The staff here is extremely attentive and so kind. They were very helpful in helping us choose wine tours and in selecting the ones that were suitable for us and what we were looking for. The complementary breakfast in the morning is absolutely wonderful with everything you could want and so beautifully laid out. There is a beautiful terrace you can eat your breakfast on which has gorgeous scenery of the mountains surrounding you. The dinners here are also amazing as they use all fresh vegetables and organic foods that are grown in their own garden. This place was quite expensive but I can say that it was worth every penny and I would highly recommend it to anybody travelling this area of Tuscany. We hope to return one day soon!
“A Magical Honeymoon”
Customer rating ★★★★★
My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon here. This villa is the most amazing place to stay and provides that perfect Tuscany experience. When we arrived, we drove up a road lined with cypress trees and were greeted with a villa covered in ivy and with amazing charm. When we checked in we were given a welcome drink and a tour and our bags were brought to our room. Our room looked over the valley, and it was incredibly beautiful. The hotel restaurant is superb and the first night we took part in a wine tasting. Each morning we had an amazing breakfast and fun cappuccinos with creative designs on them. The villa had maps of local areas, made reservations for dinner for us, set up a cooking class, and found us an amazing winery to visit that was off the beaten path. The couples at this hotel were so much fun to meet and spend time with. We often found ourselves eating dinner with new friends or getting a drink at the bar chatting with the bartender about his life. If you are even thinking about staying at this hotel, do it. The pictures do not do it justice and the hospitality is exceptional. Our only regret is that we didn’t spend our entire honeymoon here!
“Jewel Of Tuscany”

After a week of everyday tour in Rome we took a short break at Tuscany. We arrived a bit after sunset. The staff are so nice. I feel like I’ve known them for so long. They treat me, my husband and our little daughter like family.
I love the welcome picnic basket that they prepared for us with fruits, chocolates, biscuits and wine. It’s those simple things that a hotel/resort does to their guests that made me really love them.
The room we got is a garden suite. I love that you can open your door at the living room and just feel like you’re home having coffee looking at the nice garden outside. The suite is pretty spacious. I love the design and the interiors. The hotel really maintained the property well.
The restaurant in the hotel serves really good food. Everyday we have breakfast there and few nights we have dinner. Some nights we had room service. Gina from the restaurant is really lovely. My daughter really loves her.
The small town of Cortona is the closest town that we always go to for site seeing and for food too. You can ask the reception they’ll give you great advice for restaurants and other events there. There was an art exhibit when we went and the reception staff are so nice to give us free tickets to some of the exhibits. How lovely of them really.
I can’t wait to plan our next Italy vacation and for sure will come back to this lovely place.
