The categories vary according to the size of the room and bathroom, views, furnishings and in-room amenities. The deluxe rooms, jr suites and suites also have a seating area in the room.
As this is an ancient manor house, every room is different and so the standardization of the room categories is not always so apparent as in a modern hotel. We have therefore published a few photos for each room category in order to aid you in choosing which category best suits your requirements. We also welcome you to write to us and to specify what the preferred feature of your room may be.
The rooms are located on the first and second floors of the main villa, in adjacent buildings and in the courtyard. The second floor rooms have smaller windows, as well as skylights, but better views. All ground floor rooms have direct access to the garden and some even have their own private garden or terrace. Not all rooms necessarily have a view. However, our best views can be admired from our terrace and first floor reading room which is open to all guests.
The ground floor of the main Villa is dedicated entirely to common areas including: the reception hall, the dining room, the music room for lounging and relaxing, the bar area, the meeting room, the shaded terraces. In the Limonaia Building we also have a gift shop and our kitchen for cooking lessons.
Other common areas include the wine cellar below the Villa and a large reading room on the first floor.
