Not sure why the word perfect is being used so freely when we meet perfect so rarely in life. Gladly one of these few times just happened to me and my fiancé while traveling to fantastic Tuscany to celebrate my birthday. We arrived fairly late and the road to this magical villa didn't promise much.. as soon as we got to the charming front desk we met a classy lady (Lorella is this angel's name) who made us feel like we got home (I wish!). Seriously, if there are tinny imperfections and I'm saying that because I could be a little much sometimes, the incredible staff does everything it takes to fix these and they do it in a way that makes you feel no guilt for being picky. I can go on and on about their insane restaurant of where I had the best steak tartar I've ever tasted and that it is being served in a room that makes you feel as if you and Julius Caesar used to hang and I can talk about the flawless and rooms overlooking the magical garden of the best part of romantic toscuny or even the nice owner of the villa that spends the longest time to play fetch with his happy dog and none of that could even touch one percent of what the place really feels like. To make a long story short, go and know that no matter who you are, I hate you for being there while I'm not.
This was our second time at your lovely place. It was wonderful in all respects: the gorgeous villa, the beautiful room and breathtaking view, the delicious breakfast and superb dinner and perhaps most important - the warm and welcoming hosts, the Wimpole Family, and their dedicated, kind staff. It was perfection. We will be back again!
Tuscany was our third stop, following Venice and Florenza. Our suite at the Villa di Piazzano was easily the best accommodation of the trip so far. It was spacious, well appointed, appealing to the eye and meticulously maintained. The staff were superb, the owners gracious, and the location central as a base to explore the region. We enjoyed the restaurant and cooking class. It was too cool for the pool, but it like all the common areas, looked great. It was a totally satisfying stay.
Amazing experience. Beautiful place. Staff is warm and helpful. The food was wonderful. I would highly recommend Villa di Piazzano. A little difficult to get to but well worth the trip.
Everything was good: the nice room, the beautiful garden, the views and the food. If I have to mention one thing to improve it is the dinner that is perhaps al little to formal and rather expensive. We have been in this hotel for three times now and we found the first two times more comfortable with dinner. But we absolutely will come back a forth time!
Our stay at Villa di Piazzano was exceptional, we loved ever minute and were so sad to leave. Next time we are staying longer. The staff made us feel right at home the minute we walked in. The room we stayed in was beautiful, overlooking the Tuscan landscaping. The food was delisious and eating out on the terrance at night was so romantic. Still dreaming about our time there.
We had a fantastic stay.
Just so beautiful and relaxing! Love Tuscany, love Villa di Piazzano !!
It was better than expected! Loved it. Especially, Gabriella, the chef. She is lovely inside and out. I also have to say, your staff, work very hard and are so good at their jobs. Great work you are doing. Keep it going!
